WTF is up with music these days?

Okay, so I was listening to music on the way into (my last week of!!) work this morning, and I heard this really catchy song on the radio. I was liking it until I heard this line:

I'll treat you like milk, I'll do nothing but spoil you

Wha? With some effort I can understand the sentiment, but WTF? This could be construed as the rapper saying, "I'll do nothing but leave you in my fridge too long until you get sour and chunky." Then what's supposed to happen? He throws the spoiled milk away and GETS SOME MORE MILK.
